Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On 11.13.2023, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Breckenridge public water system to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 11.15.2023.

The affected area includes the NW corner of N. Parks Street and W. 7th Street, east to Breckenridge Ave, south to W. 3rd Street and east to N. Parks Street.

El 13.11.2023, la Comisión de Calidad Ambiental de Texas requirió que el sistema público de agua de la ciudad de Breckenridge emitiera un aviso de hervir el agua para informar a los clientes, individuos o empleados que, debido a las condiciones que ocurrieron recientemente en el sistema público de agua, se requería hervir el agua de este sistema público de agua antes de usarla para agua potable o consumo humano.
