Main Line Water Break precipitates a City-wide Boil Water Notice - 10.3.2023

PW Crews have isolated values to reduce water enough to pump the water out of the hole, assess damages and begin repairs. Contingency plans are in formation if repairs can’t be completed by tomorrow. We appreciate your patience as our crews work diligently to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

10.3.2023 at approximately 3 pm

The City of Breckenridge has a 12-inch main that has experienced a major water line break and is affecting the majority of the City and therefore, the City is issuing a City-Wide Boil Water Notice until further notice. This is an evolving situation. Crews are currently troubleshooting, shutting down valves and working to repair the water line break. The City will provide updates on our Facebook page as we have new information.
