The Mayor/Commissioners are holding a Public Hearing to vote on tax rate increase for FY 2023 -2024. The Public Hearing on the tax rate increase will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the Commissioner Chambers located at City Hall, 105 N. Rose, Breckenridge, Texas beginning at 5:30 pm.  After receiving the certified values from the Stephens County Appraisal District on July 25, 2023, the Commissioners held a budget workshop July 27, 2023. They also held a meeting on the proposed tax rate on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 and set the dates for the Public Hearing on the Tax Rate (August 29, 2023) and the Public Hearing for the budget adoption on September 5, 2023.
